They let go of a handful of players including the likes of Dwayne Bravo, Adam Milne, Robin Uthappa, and Chris Jordan. The team also spent heavily in the auction and made some crucial picks. England’s Test skipper Ben Stokes is one of the biggest additions to the team this season. 

Coming to Gujarat Titans, they will be pumped up to take the field on Friday. The franchise rocked the league in their debut season last year. The Titans were the underdogs in the 2022 season. They stunned all the fans by topping the points table throughout the competition.

The team won as many as ten league matches while losing only four games. Gujarat followed it up with a win over Rajasthan Royals in the first Qualifier game in Kolkata. The franchise again managed to spill its magic in the final as they defeated the Royals by seven wickets. The bowlers were the ones leading the team as they restricted the opposition to a score of 130 runs. It was an easy total for Hardik Pandya & Men and they cruised to a win within 18.1 overs with seven wickets in hand.

The team was also active during the auction as they picked seven new players in the side while letting go of players like Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Lockie Ferguson.
