Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals IPL Tips

Chennai Super Kings are currently sitting in fifth place in the standings with two wins and one loss. The team has collected four points so far. The MS Dhoni-led side was not up to the mark in the opening game of the IPL 2023 as they succumbed to a defeat by five wickets against Gujarat Titans. The bowlers let the team down as they failed to defend 178 runs in the allotted 20 overs. However, the team quickly regained its rhythm to win the next two matches. 

Chennai defeated Lucknow Super Giants in their second game by 12 runs. It was a sensational batting performance by the four-time champion as they hammered 217 runs in the allotted 20 overs. The bowlers carried forward the momentum in the second innings as they defended the runs with ease. 

The Super Kings continued the winning streak in their third game as well. They defeated Mumbai Indians by seven wickets by chasing 158 runs in 18.1 overs only. Ravindra Jadeja was the top player for his team as he picked three wickets at an economy rate of five. 

Speaking of Rajasthan Royals, they have also won two of their three league games. Unlike the Super Kings, the Royals kickstarted the tournament with a win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. The team dished out a brilliant batting performance by racking up a score of 203 runs in the 20 overs in the first innings.

The Royals failed to continue the good performance and ended up losing by five runs after scoring only 192 runs while following 197. Sanju Samson & Men did not carry forward their losing streak for long as they defeated Delhi Capitals in their very next game by 57 runs.
