In this online cricket betting site review, we’ll be looking at BetInExchange – one of the newer cricket betting sites out there. We’re very interested to see what this is all about – as there’s not much out there about it right now – and finding out about it isn’t so easy… it remains a bit of a mystery for anyone who has yet to join up. So, that’s why we are taking the time to delve into the site – to see exactly what it’s all about.

First thing first, this site is completely licensed and regulated for Indian players as it holds a Curacao gaming licence. It was, however, only launched in 2021, so they do still have a long way to go before they can build up a decent reputation for themselves in the industry. In the first few years of operation for any online sportsbook or casino, it’s all about gaining a player’s trust. So, here at CricketBettingMan, we have decided to try it out for ourselves to see exactly how it works, how good it is compared to others – and whether or not it’s worth spending your time, money and cricket bets on.

About the BetInExchange Sportsbook

The first thing to note is that this is a mobile cricket betting and online sports betting site. As such, if you open up the website on your desktop or laptop it can look a little bit strange and difficult to use. In fact, it comes in smartphone size only… so not even great for tablets. However, if you are intending to be a purely mobile phone player, then this shouldn’t cause too much of a problem.

In terms of the sportsbook – although there were in-play and pre-match bets available, the selection of sports available was very limited. At the time of the review, we could only actually see cricket, football and tennis bets available. Having said that, there were a fair few markets you could bet on. 

When we opened up a live in-play cricket match, they offered markets including:

• 1st innings totals for players
• Match winner
• Tie
• Dismissal methods

In terms of pre-match betting markets, we managed to find a few more markets including:

• Win the coin toss
• Team with top batter
• Team with top bowler
• 1st Innings totals for teams and players
• Team with the highest score at first dismissal
• Match winner
• Will there be a tie?
• Top batter

The markets were okay – and good enough for most cricket bettors. However, if we compare it to other sites we found it a little bit wanting. For example, we couldn’t see boundary bets etc. 

BetInExchange Live Betting

You can place your bets on matches that are upcoming or that have already started. The odds are pretty generous and are updated in real-time. This means that you can time your bets on the match to get the best odds possible. The markets available for in-play bets weren’t as plentiful as pre-match markets but were still good. When opening up the game you want to bet on live, you can also see a graph with the game stats, the scores, run rates etc, so that you have a good idea of what is going on when you make your wager (if you aren’t watching it, of course)

BetIn Exchange 

This is all about the exchange – which is actually better than the traditional sportsbook area of the site.  The BetIn Exchange allows punters to both back markets and lay bets… which means you can even act as the bookmaker if you want. The site is geared towards the exchange area, so it’s well worth checking out.

BetInExchange Live Streaming

It may be a little wanting in the number of sports you can bet on, but we were surprised to see that BetInExchange does actually offer some live streaming services. You can’t live stream every game you bet on, but there is a pretty decent selection. When you open up the sport you want to bet on, you can scroll down the list of available watches to bet on. Some will have a little red play arrow beside the game – and you will be able to live stream these directly to your phone.

Remember, you will need to make sure that you have money in your account and ensure that you have placed a bet on that match before attempting to live stream the game.

In terms of the overall usability of the exchange and sports betting site – we are on the fence. It looks pretty good on mobile, but we were a little bit thrown that you have to play on a site the size of a mobile phone… no matter how you open it up. 

Because there aren’t too many sports and options available just yet, it’s pretty easy to find what you want. So, that’s a good thing.  It’s fast, intuitive and smooth – but we’d love a desktop dedicated version (and more sports)!

The deposits and withdrawals at BetInExchange were pretty good – and more impressive than the selection of sports. There is a solid range of payment options, but there were a few options missing that are usually popular, such as PayPal and Neteller. Currently, the depositing methods are:

How to make a deposit into your BetInExchange account:

1. Log into your account and click on the Account tab.
2. You then need to click on the ‘Deposit’ button
3. Choose your preferred deposit method and enter the amount you want to deposit.
4. Click submit
5. The payment should then be credited into your account either instantly or within a few minutes.

In terms of withdrawals, you can withdraw via the same methods available for depositing. Again, the website isn’t entirely clear on what to expect though – as all withdrawal methods are listed as taking between 24 hours up to 72 hours – and there are no minimum or maximum withdrawal limits stipulated. 

Before you withdraw your money, you will be required by BetInExchange to complete the KYC verification process. This will require that you submit the requested verification documents to verify your ID and banking information. This will be necessary for all players and is part of their licensing requirements.

This isn’t one of their strengths – especially when you compare it to other online cricket betting sites in India. This is a little surprising given that, as a newer site, you would expect it to try and attract players away from the competition.

Unfortunately, we scoured the site high and low for signs of something, but we couldn’t find anything resembling a welcome bonus or first deposit bonus for new players. As such, it makes it unappealing to newer cricket bettors on the lookout for a new hunting ground.

Other BetInExchange Offers

Again, this is an area that is left wanting. The only promotional campaign that we could see when we opened up the site was a lucky draw. If you deposited at least 50 Rupees or more into your BetInExchange account then you could be in with the chance of winning a car. There isn’t a dedicated promotional page either, so you have to look out for yourself to see what’s available. Hopefully, they will be able to improve this area at some point.

This site is actually all about mobile play – and is designed solely for the purpose of playing on your mobile smartphone. The actual URL browser site is pretty good. It is user-friendly, intuitive and smooth, so you can find the sports or games you are looking for with little problem. Even as a newer player, you will be able to find your way through making a bet with ease. The load-up time is impressive and navigation is good. But what about the BetInExchange app?

Well, if you’re an Android phone user then great. There is a BetInExchange apk that you can download onto your phone, so you can enjoy a very good mobile app experience. However, you don’t have the same option if you have an Apple iPhone or device that runs on the iOS system. There currently is no dedicated BetInExchange app download available just yet. Yes, there are lots of things to love and maybe not like about the site, but there is no doubt about its legitimacy and safety. Review

In terms of sports – it’s pretty mediocre. The cricket betting was decent – with a great exchange and sportsbook option for in-play and pre-match bets… and pretty generous odds to boot. However, compared to other sites, there really aren’t many other sports to choose from. It does have some live streaming capabilities, however – so thumbs up. A positive area for us was the live casino, which was high-quality and plentiful. The depositing and withdrawals were also pretty solid. Some methods were missing, but there were enough options to suit most Indian players. We also thought the customer support was great – readily available all the time. Bonuses though? What bonuses?! That definitely needs improvement. On the whole, this is a safe and legit site – and if you like making cricket bets on the move, it’s well worth a look.
