NZ vs IND – 2nd T20i – Team Preview
New Zealand
It was a huge disappointment for the hosts as the first game got dismissed because of the interference by the rain. They would be looking forward to scoring a win in the second to forget the nightmare of their T20 World Cup semi-final loss against Pakistan. Kiwis had the best men on the ground in the tournament but luck was not on their side.
Coming to play against India on Sunday, Kane Williamson has not done many changes to the squad. Team management will be more concerned about the declining form of the skipper himself. Williamson is a lead batter in the middle order and his finishing abilities have helped the team win matches. However, his recent dip has opened up a void in the team which is hard to fulfill.
Tim Southee, Adam Milne, Lockie Ferguson, and Blair Tickner will be handling the bowling attack. Tickner will be included in the playing XI to experiment with the bowling lineup of New Zealand.
India
The good news for team India in the upcoming fixture is that Wellington is known to support the hard hitters. India has good depth in their batting lineup and they all will get the support of the pitch on Sunday. Hardik Pandya will be leading the team with some new faces reintroduced to India’s T20i side.
BCCI and the selection committee have given rest to some senior players. Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Sanju Samson have been given to show their skills. After the world cup debacle, Indian cricket will be looking forward to building a team for the 2024 tournament and it is expected that playing against New Zealand is a new start for the men in blues.
Team management has not touched the pace attack and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami and Arshdeep Sing will responsible to handle the attack with the new ball. Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar will be in the playing XI without any doubt.

NZ vs IND – 2nd T20i – Toss Prediction and Pitch Report
Wellington is known to offer help to the pace attack and at the same time, it also offers good support to the batsmen as well. Out of 12 games played at Bay Oval, 9 were won by the team batting first. The toss-winning team should opt to bat first.
NZ vs IND – 2nd T20i – Match Prediction
Toss will play a big role in the end result of this game. India has a strong batting lineup but considering the fact that they have a weaker bowling lineup and New Zealand has the advantage of being at the home, we predict New Zealand to win the game.
