Joburg Super Kings

The Joburg Super Kings are being led by the South African cricketing superstar and former South African side captain, Faf Du Plessis. The Kiwi`s veteran Stephen Fleming is looking over the young group of talent as their head coach. The Joburg side is representing the beautiful city of Johannesburg. The Super Kings started off their journey with an emphatic win over the Durban Super Giants. The real wake-up call was slammed on them when their batting order collapsed to 81 against the Paari Royals and then against Cape Town. The Super Kings have since then lost only 1 game, whilst having 1 game with no result against the Royals. The Super Kings side has gone past their horrible start of the tournament and is now focused on what lies ahead as they would be looking for significant contributions from their Sri Lankan spinner, Theekshana and the Aussie, Mathew Wade.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape

The Sunrisers Eastern Cape is being led by the Protea`s very own, Aiden Markaram. The journey of the Proteas to the semis has been a little boring. They once went downhill and then fought back whilst going with a few wins and losses. It has been a rollercoaster ride for them. On occasions, their batting order has shown the true potential of snatching the game completely from the opponent’s hands. The Sunriser`s fans must be wishing for Adam Rossington to fire at all cylinders and sail them to the final. Marco Jansen remains another great batsman capable of playing a match-winning knock for the Sunrisers as he has already once done it against the MI Cape Town side. Roelof Van Der Merwe remains the key for the Sunrisers in their bowling attack as they will be looking up to him to get them those crucial wickets in the all-important semi-final game against the Super Kings.
