IRE vs UAE – WC Qualifiers – Team Previews
Ireland
The Irish cricket team has struggled in the ICC World Cup Qualifier, losing all three of their matches against Oman, Scotland, and Sri Lanka. However, George Dockrell and Curtis Campher have been standout performers with the bat, with Dockrell scoring 186 runs in three innings to rescue Ireland from collapsing innings.
Campher leads the team with 159 runs, but the rest of the batting lineup will need to contribute if they hope to win their final league game. Adair has been the standout bowler with nine wickets in three innings at an impressive average of 16.
However, the other bowlers have not been up to par, which has contributed to the team’s poor performance. If the Irish team wants to salvage some pride and secure a victory, their bowlers must step up and improve their collective performance.
United Arab Emirates
The UAE cricket team has not been performing well in the ICC World Cup Qualifier, losing all three of their matches against Sri Lanka, Oman, and Scotland. A major concern for the team has been their weak batting performance, with no player scoring more than 100 runs.
Vriitya Aravind has managed to score only 88 runs in three innings at an average of 29, making him the highest run-scorer for the UAE. The team will have to rely on Afzal Khan, Roha Mustafa, and Asif Khan to contribute the most runs in the batting department. In the previous game, Basil Hameed scored 30 runs off 29 balls, while captain Muhammad Waseem scored 36 runs off 57 balls, but the team’s overall batting performance has fallen short.
Meanwhile, the bowling unit has also underperformed with only Junaid Siddique managing to take five wickets from two innings. All Naseer has taken four wickets in three games with an economy rate of 4.03. If the UAE team hopes to win their final league game, they must drastically improve their bowlers’ collective performance along with their batting.

IRE vs UAE – WC Qualifiers – Pitch Report and Toss Prediction
The pitch is ideal for pace bowlers during the first innings due to the frequent bounce and swing. However, the pitch can change as the match progresses, leading to a higher advantage for the batters in the second innings. Therefore, it is advisable for the team that wins the toss to choose to bowl first.
IRE vs UAE – WC Qualifiers – Win Prediction
Both teams are in dreadful form at the moment but the quality in the Ireland side might be too much to handle for a struggling UAE.
