RR vs LSG – IPL – Team Previews
Rajasthan Royals
The Rajasthan Royals have had an impressive start to the IPL 2023 season, winning four out of five games and topping the points table. They also head into their upcoming game on Wednesday with a three-match winning streak, having defeated the Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, and Gujarat Titans in their previous matches.
The team’s batting has been exceptional, scoring over 175 runs in each of their league games, with Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson standing out. The spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Ashwin have also been performing well.
Although Buttler is a key player, the ability of Samson and Hetmyer to stage a comeback shows that RR is not entirely dependent on him, which gives Buttler more freedom at the top of the order. The struggling Devdutt Patikal and Rian Parag are likely to be replaced in the Royals’ line-up.
Lucknow Super Giants
The Lucknow Super Giants will be looking to bounce back from their recent defeat to the Punjab Kings. KL Rahul scored 74 in that match but received little support from his teammates. The Super Giants will need a better batting effort this time around.
The Super Giants will be relying on Mark Wood and Jaydev Unadkat against the Royals to make an impact. Unadkat has played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium before when he represented the Royals, while Wood could benefit from the pitch conditions if Lucknow wins the toss and chooses to bowl first.
Kyle Mayers has been instrumental in providing the Super Giants with quick starts, which could mean that Quinton de Kock may not get much playing time. Ayush Badoni has been a key
player for the Super Giants, although in their last game, they opted to include K Gowtham instead as the Impact Player.

RR vs LSG – IPL – Pitch Report and Toss Prediction
The ongoing IPL season will feature its first match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, where the pitch is expected to favour batsmen while offering some assistance to spinners. Based on the results of the tournament so far, the captain winning the toss will likely opt to bowl first.
RR vs LSG – IPL – WIn Prediction
Rajasthan Royals look like they have all bases covered, while Lucknow are looking vulnerable at the top. We expect a win for Sanju Samson’s men and make it a hat-trick of victories against LSG.
