LSG vs DC – IPL – Team Previews
Lucknow Super Giants
The Lucknow Super Giants, who are still in the early stages of their IPL career, are feeling confident heading into their match against one of the top contenders, the Delhi Capitals. Lucknow has emerged victorious in all of their previous encounters against Delhi, which bodes well for their chances.
Despite making their IPL debut just last season and not playing any home matches in Lucknow, the team has made some changes while keeping the core intact. The addition of England’s Mark Wood to the bowling attack this year will make it even stronger, alongside Avesh Khan.
KL Rahul, who has faced criticism from fans recently regarding his spot in the Indian side across all three formats, will be under the spotlight.
However, Lucknow will be without their South African star Quinton de Kock due to his international commitments. In his absence, Kyle Mayers is expected to open the batting with KL Rahul in the initial few games, but the team will be buoyed by the presence of Mark Wood, the English express pacer.
Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals will rely on Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan to perform well with the bat and make up for the absence of star captain Rishabh Pant. In addition to his batting duties, Khan will also take on wicket-keeping responsibilities for the team this year, having impressed during his recent domestic season with Mumbai.
David Warner, who led SRH to their first IPL title in 2016, is captaining Delhi Capitals this year. However, the Australian opener has been struggling for form recently, with no half-centuries in his last 10 innings. Despite this, Warner has a strong squad to choose from and will be keen to get points on the board early in the tournament.
Manish Pandey is expected to be part of the starting lineup, although doubts remain about his current form. Unfortunately, Delhi will also be missing the services of Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi, who are unavailable due to their commitments with the South African national team.

LSG vs DC – IPL – Pitch Report and Toss Prediction
The surface at the Ekana is known to be on the slower side. The pitch for the India-New Zealand game at this venue proved to be a raging turner. Batters will need to spend some time in the middle to adjust to the pace of the wicket. In the nine T20Is that have been played at this venue so far, five games have been won by the team batting first.
LSG vs DC – IPL – Win Prediction
If the pitch is on the slower side, it will hinder both teams. Lucknow being the home side will have the edge in terms of conditions and are favourites to win this game.
