AS (W) vs ST (W) – Big Bash League – Team Preview
Adelaide Strikers (Women)
Adelaide Strikers witnessed an unexpected loss in their last game against Hobart Hurricanes. The whole fixture was mostly dominated by the Hurricanes and the Strikers didn’t get a chance to make comeback during the match. One of the major struggles that the Strikers faced in the last game was losing wickets and being unable to build constructive partnerships.
Katie Mack and Deandra Dottin completely failed to give a good start to the team. The opening partnership was soon broken but Laura Wolbaadrt came to the rescue of her team and scored 45 runs in 38 balls at a strike rate of 118.42. She was unable to get any support from the other end. Because of the slow momentum, the Strikers were unable to chase the target.
In the bowling department, Amanda-Jade Wellington came out as the highest wicket-taker in the last game. Team management will have high expectations for the Sunday game.
Sydney Thunder
Sydney Thunder is going through a nightmare in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League women. They are currently in the last position in the point table with just one win. Thunder started their new season campaign with three consecutive losses and after winning a game against Perth Scorchers, they have not won a single fixture.
Amy Jones will have to set up a big opening wicket stand with Phoebe Litchfield in this game, as it has been one of the major weaknesses for the team. Their middle order is also struggling to provide momentum and win matches. Haynes must hold the middle order together and score runs along with Sammy-Jo Johnson and Chole Tryon.
Lea Tahuhu and Samantha Bates are completely out of form and they both are unable to pick wickets and break the partnerships. Belinda Vakarewa, Lauren Smith, and Darlington will have to keep a check on the scoring rate in the middle overs.

AS (W) vs ST (W) – Big Bash League – Toss Prediction & Pitch Report
Nuriootpa Centennial Park is known for its support of the pace attack. The thick grass cover on the wicket makes it a great hunting ground for fast bowlers. According to weather conditions, overcast conditions make it perfect for the pace attack. Historically, chasing scores have been easier on the ground and hence we suggest the toss-winning team should opt to the ball first.
AS (W) vs ST (W) – Big Bash League – Match Prediction
Sydney Thunder is technically a weak team in this fixture. The players are down with confidence and the morale of the team is also low. Adelaide will get the benefit of the same we predict Strikers to win the game.
